Rear Fuselage Rudder Cable Installation

The rudder cables were routed the length of the rear fuselage, running from the baggage compartment area aft through the floor channels and bulkheads to the tail-cone. The cable support bracket was also fitted to the floor to guide the runs.

Rudder Cable Routing

The cables run aft along the floor channels, passing through the bulkheads with their rod-end fittings.

Cables exiting the aft bulkhead at the tail-cone. Cables running down the center of the fuselage. Forward ends of the cables, folded over until center fuselage is assembled.

Cable Support Bracket

A boxed support bracket was mounted to the floor between the channels to guide and locate the cable runs.

Support bracket and cross brace clecoed on the floor. Boxed support bracket riveted between the floor channels. Support bracket rivnuts installed.
